2020 Eternal World Championship Final Results!

Congratulations LightsOutAce, Eternal’s second World Champion!

On Sunday November 22nd, they emerged victorious from a field of 24 of the best Eternal players in the world. In a thrilling 5-game final of nico_aba vs LightsOutAce, with his Garden of Omens control deck, where he captured the title of Eternal World Champion and the $15,000 prize for first place.

The World Championship was a culmination of a year long journey going back to the first Eternal Championship Qualifier on November 17, 2019. This was followed by 8 additional ECQs, 6 Season Championships, the first Eternal Draft Championship, and was capstoned by the Last-Chance Qualifier, where the final four Worlds competitors earned their slot.

23 qualified players emerged and joined our reigning World Champion, Areus, in a battle across two formats and two weekends. We covered the games on Twitch, and have uploaded the videos to Youtube, so be sure to check them out!

On behalf of the Eternal team, we’d like to extend thanks to all our players, and everyone who came out to support the Worlds participants over the course of the last week. Worlds 2020 was a genuine treat.
