Announcing Clank! Digital!

May 19, 2023 (Denver, CO) – Today Dire Wolf announced that the beloved line of Clank! tabletop board games is coming to Steam and mobile devices in 2024. Backers of Dire Wolf’s ongoing Kickstarter for Clank! Legacy 2: Acquisitions Incorporated – Darkest Magic will be able to play and give feedback during a first-wave closed beta period prior to release.

Since its premiere in 2016, Clank! has become a beloved and popular board game line, with 15 releases across core games and expansions.

The original Clank! A Deck-Building Adventure saw players step into the boots of cunning thieves competing to steal the most valuable treasure from a dragon’s hoard. Its innovative blend of deck-building mechanics and a double-sided game board to explore captured the “old-school dungeon crawl” feel, earning it accolades, nominations and awards.

Dire Wolf has been responsible for a number of acclaimed digital board game adaptations, including the Golden Geek Award-winning adaptations of Everdell and Root, along with the popular recent releases of Munchkin, Sagrada, Wings of Glory, and others.

“We’ve been fortunate to work with some amazing partners over the past few years to bring their tabletop games to digital players (and we’ll have a few more to announce soon!),” said Scott Martins, President of Dire Wolf. “Clank! will be the first time we’re adapting our own board game title to the digital space, so it’s both a logical step and a chance for us to have some fun with it.”

The next addition to the Clank! family, Clank! Legacy 2: Acquisitions Incorporated – Darkest Magic is now available on Kickstarter. Backers at the Associate or Upper Management levels will be invited to participate in a private closed beta period prior to the release of Clank! Digital! next year.
