
Cascadia Digital 1.0.3 Patch Notes
February 22, 2025We hope you’ve been enjoying the trek through the Pacific Northwest. This patch brings some additional bug fixes and improvements to make your journey as smooth as possible!
Fixes and Improvements
- Updated the Daily Trek Leaderboard to display the badge each player will earn if they maintain their current rank when the trek ends.
- Improved tap/click functionality when playing a token or tile in any order.
- Skittish Wildlife Challenge can now move placed habitat tiles.
- Wildlife Discovery Challenge scoring card reveal improvements.
- Added a missing ‘closed’ icon asset to unused player slots in game creation.
- Clarified the Daily Trek prompt to better indicate that ‘starting over’ begins a new attempt and will consume one of your available attempts.
Mobile Fixes and Improvements
- Updated end of game UI to fix overlap issues in the first Tutorial.
iOS users can now open the chat window in the game lobby. - Repositioned the challenge rules reminder to prevent overlap with opponent information.
- Increased size of Daily Trek prompt for resigning games.
- Added mobile-specific instructions for rotating habitat tiles in the tutorial.
- Adjusted UI elements near the edge of the screen to be more easily accessible.
- Adjusted tooltips to be easier to select on smaller screens.
- Improved Tutorial prompts and hinting.
- Localization update for Android UI size options.
- Achievements should unlock in Google Play Games.
Known Issues
- Fox B does not grant points for adjacent groups larger than two.
- Player rank entry in Leaderboard is blank when placed outside the top 100.
- Friends with long names do not show up well on mobile friend list.
- Performance is poor on some mobile devices on playmat.
- No gamepad icon for rotating habitat tiles.
- Wildlife tokens are automatically placed when cursor is moved on gamepad during prompting in tutorial.
- AI can behave incorrectly in challenges after a specific pass-and-play flow is used.
