Cold Hunt $5K Draft Open Results

Congratulations to TheBoxer, Winner of the Eternal Cold Hunt $5K Draft Open!

On Sunday, November 21st, TheBoxer emerged victorious from a field of 64 incredible players in the Cold Hunt $5k Draft Open, winning their second Open of the 2021 Eternal organized play season! Since TheBoxer had already qualified for the World Championships by winning the Stormbreak $5K Throne Open, this tournament’s qualifying slot passes down to their opponent in the finals, Galeth88.

We also had our second player qualify for Worlds by reaching the Top 4 twice! Phoenix, who fell to Galeth88 in the semifinals, also placed 2nd in the Revelations $5K Throne Open. Now after finishing in the Top 4 this weekend, they will have the chance to compete against Galeth88, TheBoxer, and a slew of incredible competitors at this year’s World Championship!

Andrew Baeckstrom and Patrick Sullivan covered the top 64 games on the Dire Wolf Twitch channel, and we have uploaded the video to Youtube, so be sure to check out all the action you may have missed!

Next month brings one last open event shot at glory!
