Cortex Prime Community Licensing

Beginning in May, we’re opening up the Cortex Prime RPG system to both community and commercial projects, with direct digital distribution via DriveThruRPG.

Under the newly-released licensing agreement, only the largest and most successful commercial projects would have royalty obligations, giving independent creators more freedom to produce and share their work with the community.

The multi-year licensing deal will be administered by Cortex designer Cam Banks through a new partnership with his studio, Rusty Sellsword Design, giving independent creators a formal path to build and sell games “primed by Cortex.”

In addition to the new sublicense, Rusty Sellsword will be making additional Cortex Prime content available via DriveThruRPG in the coming months.
