Eternal: The Expedition Vault

Hello, I’m Patrick Sullivan, and I’m excited to bring you information about the Expedition Vault, a new feature in our commitment to be the most generous free-to-play CCG on the market.

First, a quick recap on our constructed format, Expedition

Expedition puts a spotlight on the new cards, themes, and mechanics from the most recent sets. It’s a great format to check out whether you’re just getting started on your Eternal journey or looking to battle with the newest cards. Like this guy.

We are always looking for new ways to make the game more accessible, more exciting, more generous. So with today’s release of Cold Hunt, we’re launching a new feature, The Expedition Vault.

Each player will receive the full Expedition Vault. Whether you’re a new player, returning, or veteran, just log in anytime to receive all cards inside.
The Expedition Vault is 151 unique cards, including 30 rares.
Each user will receive a full playset of four copies of each common and uncommon in the Expedition Vault, and one of each rare.
These cards cannot be destroyed and will be legal in Expedition for the next year.
After a year, cards may leave the Vault and the Expedition format, but the copies you receive are yours to own forever. If your new Vault copies mean you now have more than four of these cards, your extras can safely be destroyed for more shiftstone.
