Eternal Patch Notes 3/1/2023

Today’s Eternal patch addresses a variety of bugs identified by the community, along with some quality of life and clarity improvements:

Bug Fixes:

  • Fixed an issue where Toxicology didn’t display Deadly until after the opponent’s chance to respond
  • Fixed an issue where Bless the Wild’s Contract could negate your own spell
  • Fixed an issue where some effects that play curses were respondable in addition to the curse itself
  • Fixed an issue where Soul Collector’s ability counted toward the Endless Hunger (Direwood Pack) achievement
  • Fixed an issue where Crafty Infiltration caused Stealth units to be briefly revealed to opponent
  • Fixed an issue where Mistveil Drake did not apply Aegis if drawn through Fisher King’s Summon ability
  • Fixed an issue where Rakano Adept did not gain Taunt for weapons played via effects
  • Fixed an issue where units that can’t die did not return to previous owner when Dark Deed was removed
  • Fixed an issue where Siphoner Paladin could grant too much strength to Caravan Harpoon
  • Fixed an issue where playing multiple Equalize spells could cause too many sacrifices
  • Fixed an issue where Triumphant Stranger’s stat buff applied too late to save it from Zytrom, Twisted Mind
  • Fixed an issue where Timeless Bond couldn’t be played if all your units were Shifted
  • Fixed an issue where Quicksilver Gateway could transform Destiny cards after they had been played
  • Fixed an issue where Serpent Hive had no prompt for its triggered ability
  • Fixed an issue where Vermin’s Feast’s had no prompt in some situations
  • Fixed an issue where Inscribe showed undepleted Sigils in its selection array
  • Fixed an issue where Inscribe visuals were removed after another effect played a power card that turn

Improvements:

  • Changed the unintuitive behavior where Hermitspawn, Alluring Predator, and Quinn, Beast Heart did not trigger when Ossuar Longbow was played on a unit
  • Changed the unintuitive behavior where Inscribe cards could not be played as Power while their non-power mode was blocked by an effect (such as Hooru Pacifier or Avigraft)
  • Added voice over and SFX to several recent Chapter cards
  • Improved hinting while exhausting a unit to Feed the Hecaton
  • Improved translations for the Insignias in Italian
