Eternal QCP Invitationals
January 7, 2020Players who have been working hard to collect Winter QCP are invited to participate in the Winter Quarterly Championships! Each event has $3,000 in prizes, and the winner of each format will be invited to the World Championship later in 2020!
Coming on January 25 and 26, the new Eternal® QCP Invitationals will allow any players who have earned 25 or more Quarterly Championship Points for the Winter Quarter to join the qualifiers for their respective format (there is no entry fee). Players who have earned 75 or more QCP will earn a bye into the Finals. You can see your Winter QCP for both Throne and Expedition formats in your Profile screen.
Formats and Schedules
Throne
- Qualifiers: January 25 from 9:00 am – 1:00 pm MST (4:00 pm – 8:00 pm UTC)
- One run of 15 games, win or lose, with the same deck.
- Finals: January 26 from 9:00 am – 2:00 pm MST (4:00 pm – 9:00 pm UTC)
- Top 64 single elimination, using the same deck from Qualifiers.
Expedition
- Qualifiers: January 25 from 3:00 pm – 7:00 pm MST (10:00 pm – 2:00 am UTC)
- One run of 15 games, win or lose, with the same deck.
- Finals: January 26 from 3:00 pm – 8:00 pm MST (10:00 pm – 3:00 am UTC)
- Top 64 single elimination, using the same deck from Qualifiers.
Deck Submissions
- Players who qualify for the Finals will be notified the evening of January 25.
- Players who earned a bye into the Finals must submit a deck no earlier than January 8th and before the end of the Qualifiers. Those players will be contacted on January 8.
- Decklists for the Top 64 will be shared to all players before the Finals begin.
- Players will be contacted via their registered emails, if you need help registering an email please contact support@direwolfdigital.com
- If you qualify for both top 64s, congratulations! Those events are staggered to allow you to compete in both.
- Please note that if the Throne finals run long, we may adjust the schedule of the Expedition finals to accommodate. All players will be notified in these events.
