Join the Conspiracy in the Dune: Imperium Championship Tournament at Gen Con!

A new order has risen on Arrakis. The Emperor has been overthrown. The ashes of war have spread from the desert planet and lit a fire across the galaxy. There are those who desire for the Imperium to return to its old ways, and underneath it all, a Conspiracy begins to take form.

Teased last month in the Dice Tower Summer Spectacular, Conspiracy is the next expansion for Dune: Imperium and Uprising, and you’ll be able to get your first glimpse of it at Gen Con 2026!

We’re not quite ready to reveal Conspiracy in its entirety, but we will have a subset of the new expansion playable in the Dune: Imperium Championship North American Tournament! Once the tournament enters into the Top 16, some elements from Conspiracy will be added to the mix, and included through the finals!

This will be the first-ever opportunity to have a shot at playing Conspiracy, and as an added bonus, everybody who makes it to the Top 64 will receive a free Shadow Council promo card!

FAQ

How Do I Enter the Tournament?

We will be holding four open qualifier rounds at Gen Con, which you can sign up for in advance via the Gen Con website. As of the time of this post’s publishing, we still have open slots in three qualifier rounds. But be sure to act quickly, because once all of the slots have been booked, there will be no additional opportunities to enter!

Can I Enter Multiple Qualifier Rounds?

Yes. You can reserve a spot for each qualifier round, which improves your chances of advancing. If you lose one of your games, you have the opportunity to try again in a later round if you’re signed up for multiple spots. If you win one of your qualifying matches, you’re allowed to play in the other matches you’ve signed up for. However, if you win any of those, the second-place player will advance to the next round.

**How Much of Conspiracy Will Be Revealed?**

As an expansion that ties into the events and characters of Dune: Part Three, we would hate to spoil any of the fun before it appears on the silver screen. That means we’ll only be revealing a subset of the new expansion. The new Raid mechanic will be in play, along with four new Leaders and 23 Imperium cards added to the deck. We will be providing a custom rulebook that covers these new additions.

**Can I Play Conspiracy if I’m Not in the Tournament?**

Conspiracy will only be playable at Gen Con via the Dune: Imperium Championship North American Tournament, being included in the semifinals and finals. That being said, anybody and everybody is welcome to spectate!

What is the Format of the Tournament?

There will be four open qualifier events on Thursday and Friday, with the winner of each game advancing to the Top 64 on Saturday. The winners of those games will advance to the Top 16 (also on Saturday), culminating in the Finals on Sunday. The structure will be as follows:

Open Qualifiers: Dune: Imperium – Uprising
Quarterfinals (Top 64): Dune: Imperium – Uprising + Bloodlines
Semifinals (Top 16): Dune: Imperium – Uprising + Bloodlines + Conspiracy
Finals (Top 4): Dune: Imperium – Uprising + Bloodlines + Conspiracy
