New Projects Announced from Dire Wolf!

Monday, August 7^th, 2023, Indianapolis, Indiana – This weekend at a private Gen Con event, the team at Dire Wolf announced a number of new partnerships and projects currently in development, as both original tabletop board games and digital adaptations.

“We’re thrilled with the projects that we’re working on,” said Scott Martins, President of Dire Wolf, “and honored by the partners who have trusted us with their games and their IP. We’ve got a fantastic slate lined up over the next couple of years, and it’s great to (finally) be able to share some of what we’re up to with fans around the world.”

New for Tabletop

Invincible: The Hero-Building Game

Announced at San Diego Comic-Con in partnership with Skybound Entertainment, a new hero-building game puts you into the tights of a newly-minted superhero who must navigate saving the world while dealing with being a teenager. Based on Robert Kirkman’s iconic comics as-adapted by Amazon Video, Invincible will swoop into Friendly Local Game Stores in early 2024.

Tales of Xadia: The Dragon Prince RPG

And get ready to return to the magical world of Xadia from Netflix & Wonderstorm’s The Dragon Prince in a new adventure and starter set coming 2024. If you’ve been following along with the recent seasons of the Emmy Award-winning animated series, war is brewing across Xadia over the world-changing power of the rare Sunseed. Clank! Digital

Previously announced as part of the Kickstarter campaign for Dire Wolf’s Clank! Legacy: Acquisitions Incorporated – Darkest Magic, the original Clank! A Deck-Building Adventure will be coming to PC , with a special early access Beta period for Kickstarter backers.

My Lil’ Everdell Digital

Chip, Sweep, and the kids of Everdell are building the most spectacular make-believe city, and you’re invited to the big parade! Tabletop Tycoon’s award-winning Everdell made the jump to digital devices last year, and My Lil’ Everdell is following across the rope bridge in a new stand-alone video game adaptation.

Munchkin Digital Retail Release

The iconic card game of killing monsters and robbing your friends (and sometimes vice-versa!) from Steve Jackson Games released earlier this year for PCs and mobile devices. Now a box product for retail, containing an Orc-B-Gone Chainsaw USB Key, and new physical (and digital) promo cards for your Munchkin game, will be available via FLGS distribution, bringing online play to your local game store shelves!

Dune: Imperium Digital

Dire Wolf’s own award-winning Dune: Imperium rounds out an expanding roster of acclaimed digital adaptations. Balance intrigue, strategy and military might to seize control of the spice of Arrakis, and with it the universe. Coming to Steam this year in time for Dune: Part Two, it will feature an all new digital board game organized event system for tournaments, leagues and leaderboards!

Dune: Imperium – Uprising

Finally, Dune: Imperium – Uprising is a new stand-alone expansion for the award-winning Dune: Imperium board game line. Cross-compatible with existing expansions, Uprising introduces epic 6-player team play as Paul Atreides faces off against Emperor Shaddam IV in a 3v3 battle for the fate of Arrakis.
