Player Stats and Game History come to Dune: Imperium Digital!

“A good hunter always climbs the highest dune before his hunts – he needs to see as far as he can see.”

-Jamis

Information is power. In the Dune universe, Mentats act as human supercomputers, constantly taking in data to calculate every possible permutation of victory and defeat. Shadowy organizations like the Bene Gesserit sisterhood weave a vast web of intel throughout the Imperium, surveilling friend and foe alike, and prescient warriors such as Paul Atreides see visions of possible futures, able to shape reality from revelations of events yet to come.

Now you, too, can wield this power in your games of Dune: Imperium Digital, with two new major features introduced in the latest patch: Player Stats and Game History!

Player Stats

In the Player Stats page, you can track a vast amount of data pertaining to your games. What is your win rate with Paul Atreides? What is your favorite Alliance? How often do you take a seat on the High Council? On which turn do you tend to grab your Swordmaster? You’ll be able to look at your own performance in these metrics (and many more), and even compare the data to your friends’.

Your Player Stats can be a valuable tool to evaluate ways to improve your game in Dune: Imperium Digital. Like a Mentat analyzes the strengths and weaknesses of their faction to identify strategic opportunities, you can scrutinize your own statistics to the same end. Do you struggle to win games? Consider comparing your Player Stats with more experienced players to see where the discrepancies lie. The Dire Wolf Discord and Steam Forums are great communities to meet fellow players!

Player Stats also represent a way to change up your playstyle if you find yourself repeating similar patterns from game to game. If you have a particularly low win rate with a certain Leader, try focusing on them until that number goes up — and just learn a thing or two about some new strategies in the meantime!

Game History

The Game History feature allows you to look at a record of your last 20 games, showing details such as placement, Victory Points, opponents, and your chosen Leader.

This can also be a great way to identify opportunities for improvement — your Game History gives you your win/loss information at-a-glance; do you find yourself stomping AI opponents, but you continually struggle to win against a certain friend? Dig into your stats, and find out where your game can improve!

Long Live the Fighters

Player Stats and Game History will apply to all future games of Dune: Imperium Digital, and we hope players will have fun digging into them. (We’re working on expanding the features to include data from previously-played games, but that’s still a work-in-progress.)

These aren’t the only new features included in Patch 2.20 for Dune: Imperium Digital. Other additions, such as new Animation Speed settings and Ranked Play improvements, are waiting for players in the new update. For a full list of changes, be sure to read the Patch Notes here!
