Citizens of Squall’s End, lookouts have spotted the sails of the evil Lord Vesh on the horizon! We must save the Isle of Cats before he arrives!

Land ho! Clear up some space on your boat – The Isle of Cats Digital is coming soon, and there are more than a few feline friends who want to board your ship!

The Isle of Cats, published by The City of Games and designed by Frank West, is a competitive, medium-weight, card-drafting, polyomino cat-placement board game for 1-4 players, and we’re excited to bring it to digital life in Steam on March 26th, with phones and tablets to follow!

Save the Cats!

You are citizens of Squalls End on a mission to the Isle of Cats to rescue as many cats as possible before the evil Lord Vesh arrives. Race against your opponents to nestle rescued cats into your boat and score points based on their placement. 

Each cat comes on a unique tile and belongs to a family of cats of its color. You must find the right fit to arrange them on your boat, while keeping families together and managing your resources along the way. Befriend mystical Oshax, read ancient lessons, and collect treasures to propel your boat to victory!

In addition to the gameplay that you know and love from the tabletop version, The Isle of Cats Digital includes a variety of ways to play:

• Family Mode: The classic simplified version of The Isle of Cats, including a pass-and-play mode which allows the whole family to play on one device!
• Solo Mode: Take on a solo challenge against an opponent who scores based on your actions! Do you have what it takes to out-rescue your stowaway sister? 
• Versus AI: Enjoy The Isle of Cats at home with your cats with solo play against AI opponents! With three levels of difficulty, AI opponents allow you to chase new strategies to your heart’s content.
• Online Multiplayer: Play against both friends and strangers in online multiplayer games!
• Challenges: Ten tricky challenges – each with two levels of difficulty – provide a puzzly twist to classic gameplay. What if boats are full of treasure? What if your cats are roaming freely, with no placement rules? What if they keep to themselves, and don’t like other cats? Challenges give you new ways to play and explore!
• Rescues: Every few days, a new Rescue will add twists on rules and objectives to add some catnip to your single-player PVE games. See how you measure up against the competition on seasonal leaderboards!
• Achievements: 15 achievements measure your progress on the Isle. From your first days as Skipper to your rise to Master Mariner, achievements show you how your game improves!
• Interactive Tutorial: First time visiting The Isle of Cats? Our interactive tutorial will get you in ship-shape in no time.
