Dune: Imperium – Uprising is now available for Dune: Imperium Digital on Steam and mobile platforms, with Xbox soon to follow! Click here to read the full patch notes!

Preserving the blend of deck-building and worker placement mechanics of Dune: Imperium, Uprising raises the stakes with a whole new board, unleashing new forces of nature and arming every Great House with fresh tools for conquest. Play as one of nine all-new Leaders. Shape your strategy around contracts and shadowy Spies. Ride sandworms into glorious combat, and claim victory on a board reborn for the desert planet’s harshest truths.

A New Board

Arrakis itself has been reshaped in the new expansion. The familiar sprawl of the original board gives way to new board spaces, ripe with new opportunities. The scheming Factions of the Imperium offer new incentives, and once-familiar locations on the desert planet have evolved with new costs and bounties alike. The Shield Wall looms over key battlegrounds, and observation posts now dot the landscape, waiting for spies to occupy them. Every space feels reborn, every route to power newly dangerous and rewarding.

Summon the Sandworms!

Bless the Maker and His water. The great Shai-Hulud is no longer confined to cards — sandworms are now living weapons you can summon into war. Earn Maker Hooks by proving your worth at Sietch Tabr, and charge straight into the Conflict by riding a mighty worm into battle. Detonate the Shield Wall and the sandworms become unstoppable across the Imperium. The desert itself now fights for those bold enough to harness it.

Contracts and Spies

The CHOAM Company, ever looking to profit from the follies of the Imperium, offers new paths to fortune. Claim contracts that grant powerful one-time rewards for fulfilling their conditions. Each contract is a binding promise: visit a named location, harvest spice, or fulfill other mercantile demands, and its prize is yours. Meanwhile, Spies glide across observation posts like ghosts in the sand. Place one to watch over certain board spaces, and then recall it later to Infiltrate an occupied space, draw an extra card on your Agent turn, or unlock potent conditional abilities on your Imperium cards. As the Uprising rages, the web of intrigue runs deep.

New Leaders and Imperium Cards

Nine legendary Leaders stand ready to lead your Great House, each with unique abilities and a powerful Signet Ring effect. Lead the cunning schemes of the Emperor’s house itself as Shaddam Corrino IV, master the fierce and unforgiving desert as Muad’Dib, rely on devious strength as Feyd-Rautha Harkonnen, and more, with each Leader feeling distinct and vital.

The entire Imperium Row has also been rebuilt with fresh cards — new synergies awaiting in an Imperium deck that has never felt more alive. Which path will you take to seize the day?

New Challenges and Achievements

Ten brand-new Challenges await those who want to dive deep into Uprising’s rich systems. Each Challenge — containing both Normal and Heroic difficulty variants — is a fresh new crucible, crafted to highlight new mechanics and push your mastery to the limit. For those who truly want to prove themselves the Lisan al Gaib, new Achievements also await with ambitious goals to strive towards.

Expansion Cross-Compatibility

For players who wish to see mighty Dreadnoughts clash with raging sandworms, to bring Ixian machinations into their schemes, to play as tried-and-true Leaders, or all of the above, the choice is yours in Uprising, with cross-compatibility between previous expansions.

Simply toggle Rise of Ix, Immortality, or both during game setup to combine them seamlessly with Uprising, along with their Epic Mode and Up to 11 variants if desired. Another setting allows for you to bring the Leaders from the Dune: Imperium base game into Uprising, giving you the power to tailor the game to your specific preferences. What would the war for Arrakis look like if it was fought between Leto Atreides and Princess Irulan? Endless possibilities await.
